Q & A

I am Stephan from Rugby Ready Academy (RRA). 

I want to take this opportunity to set out some formalities for our session on Fridays. I have had loads of questions from parents and want us all to be on the same page. 

I have had a meeting with the school about all the questions that need answering.

Starting with AfterCare - The (RRA) starts at 13:00 - School finishes at 12:10 for some scholars. They will be going to aftercare after school. We (Coaches) will be collecting them from aftercare at 12:50. After the training session, we (Coaches) will take the boys back to aftercare. Please do ensure that if your son is at aftercare to let them Know about their activity at 13:00 (RRA). Please note  this for aftercare kids only if your son is not at aftercare he is welcome to get changes and will meet me at the main field pavilion. 

Spectating - As per school rules and regulations, all parents are NOT allowed on the premises during that (RRA). Parents are more than welcome to stand and watch from the car park. (sorry I tried to rule this in our favour)

Kit and changing rooms  - The Pavilion's main changing rooms will be available for the boys to get changed after school. Kit - sporting kit (same as they would wear at school sports). I recommend that everyone should have a gumguard or mouthpiece at practice. We will practice with boots is Optional from Gr R - 3, Gr 4 and up are welcome to bring boots. From next month (RRA) shirts will be available for the boys to practice in. 

Collecting -  After the sessions, We (coaches) will walk the boys over to the gate by the main Rugby Field. Parents, PLEASE do let me know if you running late for pick up, (WhatsApp 0746010946) don't want to want to leave anyone unattended.

Need to Know - Please ensure that your boy has a water bottle for practice (less time-wasting running to water taps) and mark the water bottles with their names. When the weather isn't in our Favour (Rain) as a parent you make the call on behalf of your child if you like to continue with the practice. I personally love the wet weather practices. That been said only when it's light drizzle rain and not thunderstorms. All sessions are paid for in advance, there are 3 options - Term payment, monthly payment, and per-session payment.
